Continuum is a series that investigates the metamorphosis a city goes through as the day turns into night. Crowded spaces become empty and lighting dramatically changes the mood of any cityscape.
In the autumn of 2013, I started working on this new and experimental project. I chose four popular Birmingham locations and decided to observe their changes. Times of day were turned into image layers that stacked up to form these compositions.
